Next Generation Wealth: Wealth Management in Transition

The world of wealth management is undergoing fundamental change. Artificial intelligence, new asset classes and the growing influence of a young, digitally savvy generation of investors are challenging traditional models. At the same time, geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty are shifting global capital flows. Added to this: the recent interest rate decision by the Swiss National Bank (SNB) is fundamentally changing the investment landscape. In a phase of falling interest rates and new currency dynamics, wealth managers must rethink their strategies.

The annually published special focus «Wealth Management» in the «Neue Zürcher Zeitung» addresses these developments. It shows how family offices, banks and asset managers are responding to this turning point – and which strategies now make sense for investors.

Independent editorial content features expert voices. But companies and organisations are also invited to position themselves with guest contributions on overarching topics. Special sections published in the «Neue Zürcher Zeitung» or the «NZZ am Sonntag» are not produced by the editorial team, but by our in-house provider for journalistic storytelling: NZZ Content Creation.

Possible topics:

  • Swiss interest rate reversal – How should portfolios be positioned in an environment of falling interest rates and changing currency dynamics?
  • Artificial intelligence & digitalisation – What do clients expect today – and where are the limits of digital advisory?
  • Private assets on the rise – Why HNWIs and family offices are increasingly investing in private equity, private debt or infrastructure projects – and what risks are involved.
  • When the heirs arrive – What the new generation expects from their wealth managers – and why they often change providers.
  • More control, lower fees – How personalised index solutions are challenging the ETF market. Why tax-optimised, tailor-made portfolios are increasingly in demand.
  • Finfluencers – How young investors are informing themselves today. Where finfluencers offer opportunities – and where they mislead.
  • Residency with strategy – Why mobile Millennials and Gen Z are choosing new hotspots like Dubai, Lisbon or Singapore. What tax and legal questions this raises. Opportunities and pitfalls.
  • Impact over image – How serious are wealth managers about ESG? Which tools and methods ensure credibility?
