With construction site beats and scaffolding glamour, it was a Summer End Party like no other!
On 28 August 2025, NZZone and audienzz scored a victory over the weather! The third jointly organised Summer End Party didn’t leave its guests out in the rain – at least not before midnight. True to the theme “Under Construction”, guests partied, danced and laughed into the small hours.
In spite of forecasts of downpours for Zurich, the 500 or so guests and customers invited to the “Riithalle” were spared a thunderstorm until late in the evening. The 2025 Summer End Party organised by NZZone and audienzz once again lived up to its reputation and this year was again an enjoyable celebration full of laughter, cordless screwdrivers and concrete mixers.
That’s right, because this year’s party the theme “Under Construction”: A reference to the fact that the media and advertising industry is currently undergoing more upheaval than ever before – and, of course, a little side-swipe at Zurich’s (road) building mania.
A barbecue in a class of its own
Thanks to the unexpectedly good weather, there was also plenty of culinary delights on offer: The grilled veal spare ribs and merguez were particularly popular, closely followed by the classic Hörnlisalat. Those who still had space left in their stomach then treated themselves to one or more visits to the ice cream van. And by all accounts, nobody died of thirst.
Entertainment was also provided: The cover band “The Murphys” brought the house down (or rather, the scaffolding) and created a great atmosphere. The same applied to the “Under Construction Game”, where prizes were also to be won. As usual, the free tattoo sessions were fully booked before the evening really got going.
A construction site with charm
The guests included faces from all corners of the Swiss agency and brand world. But we also hosted visitors from outside Switzerland, with partners from Germany, Austria, France, Denmark and Spain also present. A clear signal for the crews at NZZone and audienzz that our dialogue reaches far and wide – as enduring and stable as a concrete column – and our shirt-sleeved building site charm is well received.
What did NZZone boss Adrian Näf say? “Even though we are all going through turbulent times, with us you have a safe haven – or let’s call it a solid foundation. This party is all about people: we love working with you, that’s why you’re here – enjoy!”
No sooner said than done. The party went on until late into the night. Whether or not a wrecking ball was pounding in people’s heads the next day we leave you to guess!
