Vintage

The world of watches and jewellery is undergoing change. Between a new sense of restraint, growing price sensitivity and the desire for lasting values, the question arises as to how luxury is being redefined today. This supplement examines where the industry is heading, which designs and personalities are shaping it, and why jewellery and watchmaking remain culturally and economically relevant right now.

The biannual «Watches & Jewellery» focus in the «Neue Zürcher Zeitung» takes up the current topics, gets to the bottom of facts and myths, analyses the risks and opportunities facing the industry, offers glimpses behind the scenes of this fascinating world – and this time also presents the most exciting new releases from the Watches & Wonders trade fair.

Independent editorial content will feature insights from experts. Companies and organisations are also invited to position themselves on broader thematic issues through guest contributions. Special features published in the «Neue Zürcher Zeitung» or the «NZZ am Sonntag» are not produced by the editorial team, but by our in-house provider for journalistic storytelling: NZZ Story Lab.
