«Meet the Team»: Viktoria Stauffenegger

Welcome, Viktoria Stauffenegger ✨ Born in Basel, she joined the core team of Sustainable Switzerland at NZZone in the middle of the year. Viktoria is the Multimedia Storyteller & Social Media Manager for NZZ’s national sustainability initiative with partners from business and science. As such, she designs and produces content in various formats on channels such as LinkedIn or Instagram and for the portal sustainableswitzerland.ch. Before her move, Viktoria worked for «telebasel» for almost two years, so she has experience and knowledge in moderation and moving images. And what else? Viktoria will tell you all about it herself!

Besides your current job, what do you do so well that people would pay you for it?

For my good advice.

What was the first profession you wanted to take up as a child?

Actually a journalist, I had my own newspaper as a child, which I then sent to friends and relatives.

How did you get into the media industry?

When I was 19, a friend introduced me to the youth programme «Mash» on «telebasel». That was a great start. Since then, I’ve always had one foot in the media.

What does a working day look like for you?

Lots of emails, lots of content production, the occasional matcha latte in between.

What advice would you give your twenty-year-old self for the future?

That wasn’t so long ago – haha. But I would encourage myself to have more confidence. Everything happens in its own time and that’s the way it should be.
